If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Urgent Treatment Centre

If you feel you need to see a GP when the surgery is closed, you can "walk in" to the Urgent Treatment Centre (next to A&E), Fountain Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 9RW.

Extended Access

Did you know there are now out of hours consultations?

Patients registered with a GP in Tameside or Glossop can now book doctors, nurses, health practitioner and blood appointments seven days a week at Glossop Primary Care Centre, George Street, Glossop. Patients can also arrange to see a Pharmacist for their medication reviews too.

When are the appointments available?

Monday - Friday: 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Saturday: 9am - 5pm
